Limited Registration
Under Section 13 of the Act the Council may prescribe Scopes of Practice under which individuals may apply for limited registration under the Act. Following a consultation exercise in the first half of 2006 the Council has gazetted the scopes of practice under which a person may apply for limited registration. The scopes of practice that are currently gazetted are:
- Biosecurity scope
- Academic scope
- Laboratory & diagnostic scope
- Particular skills for a restricted period
